Scissor bed from Thut / bedside table as a gift

The 990 scissor bed is a classic designed by Benjamin Thut in 1990.

As the name suggests, the bed base works according to the scissor-grid principle: you can adjust it infinitely and easily open and close it like a hand organ. You can turn a single bed into a double bed in no time at all or create a sofa-like seating area with stacked mattresses.

The famous scissor bed is a real playground of possibilities where you can use one or two standard mattresses (except innerspring).

Great also for small studios where you don't have too much space and can then pull the bed out when your sweetheart comes over. It's also great that you can easily transport the flexible grid.
