The coat rack Trumpet was designed by the Danish designer duo Space Copenhagen. The nine discs in different sizes are connected to the stand via wooden pegs.
Each wooden component is handmade on a lathe in Kharadi - an Indian village known for its woodworking skills. 'Mater' thus pays tribute to India's traditional craftsmanship. The wood for the wardrobe also comes from India.
The trumpet-shaped hangers of the coat rack offer you enough space for your jackets, bags and scarves. A great eye-catcher in your hallway or entrance area.
Trumpet' is also available in a shiny version made of recycled aluminium.
One of my new favourite labels: 'Mater', the likeable label from Denmark. It stands for timeless and beautiful design, which is created through collaborations with established and young designers. The furniture is made using traditional manufacturing techniques that support communities as well as the environment.
