A simple table, reduced to the essentials, made of either oak, beech or walnut. Nothing more and nothing less - but above all exactly what I wanted for my dining niche in front of the large window.
The tabletop consists of longitudinally aligned, continuous solid wood panels that give the table a harmonious surface. The subtle leg construction underneath keeps a subtle low profile.
The table was designed back in the 1960s by Danish architect Hans J. Wegner. It has always been considered a classic Scandinavian example of timeless design.
Combine it with Nordic wooden chairs, colorful plastic bowls or other filigree contemporaries. Or why not actually put a bench with it?
Scandinavian flair and homey charm - that's exactly how I like it!
