In front of me is a table made of solid wood, which immediately catches my eye in its elegance and lightness. The table, like all good things, has a particularly simple design and is easy to assemble and disassemble. Swiss designer Heinz Baumann spent years tweaking the interplay of form, function and the material wood until he found the 'Prova' to be perfect.
The round model consists of three identical legs and a circular wooden top. The three legs are wedged in pairs and crosswise to the table top. The table construction is therefore particularly stable, and this without any additional aids. In addition, special bolting also ensures that the high-quality wooden top does not warp. It remains as flawless and even as one would wish from an ideal table top.
The table has a great presence, is independent and expressive. A fresh, refined and timeless geometry, elegant, delicate and unobtrusive.
