This dining room combo from one of my favorite labels for selected Nordic design Hay I put together with the square table 'Two Colour' and four favorite chairs 'Petit Standard'.
Hay's 'Two Colour' series of tables are two-seeded creatures through and through. Not only in terms of their color, but also in the combination of two materials used at their best: the tubular steel legs provide optimal strength and stability, while the tabletop is made of organically colored Valchromat - a unique, robust MDF material.Both components are connected by the uniform thickness, creating a unified silhouette punctuated by the contrasting color elements.
My favorite 'Petit Standard' chairs pair beautifully with the striking table. In fact, they bring quite a bit of iconic style to your dining room with their lightweight frame of aluminum and steel tubes that connect unconventionally in a triangle. The high back and curved seat provide comfort, while the rigid tubes optimize the chair's strength and stackability.
