Juhui, finally I can present you the great rugs from 'ZigZagZurich'. They are so beautiful that they even replace any art on the wall: for example, if you stage them as a tapestry. Of course, they are also an absolute eye-catcher on the floor and so soft that I want to roll over them.
The new rugs feature work by artists woven into the material.
'Field' was designed by artist Jo Hummel for 'ZigZagZurich', where large sheets of paper were first painted and then cut into different shapes. The shapes were arranged until a visual balance was achieved.
Made from a combination of wool and bamboo silk, the carpet is woven in Europe on looms of the highest quality. Here it is given a luxurious feel as well as a long life.
By the way, the bamboo silk feels like real silk and is soft and durable. And not a caterpillar has been harmed.
