The 'Ames Sala' collection was created during a unique design journey through Colombia. Designer Sebastian Herkner visited local craftsmen who have been passing on traditional manufacturing methods in their families for centuries.
Inspired by Colombia's fascinating culture and with great respect for the craftsmen's skills, Sebastian Herkner has designed accessories and textiles for 'Ames' that fuse modern design and traditional craftsmanship. This way, exclusive and unique designs come directly into your living room.
With 'Nobsa' Sebastian Herkner designed carpets made of pure new wool, which are lengthened in the middle piece and look as if they are laid on top of each other.
The carpets are tinted with natural colors and hand-woven in Colombia.
