Kelim 'Vintage' with contrasting fringes

The name of this kilim is somewhat misleading, because vintage it is not.

Instead, 'Vintage' is a single-coloured, robust kilim by 'Kvadrat', hand-woven from fine, hand-spun wool yarn. The rug's nuanced gradients, which have an Abrasch character, are achieved by treating the dyed wool with a special wash.

Of course, I especially love the contrasting fringes. It doesn't get any better than this! The natural color palette ranges from timeless light and sun-bleached notes to richer colors inspired by natural pigments and spice tones.
