The Beni Ourain owes its name to the Berber tribe of the same name, which is located in the north-eastern foothills of the Middle to High Atlas Mountains. Traditionally, the women of the tribe are responsible for making the carpets and this requires not only manual dexterity and skill, but above all perseverance, as it often takes several months.
Even though there are now unusual, colorful versions of Beni Ourain, the color scheme of this classic rug is kept in the natural colors of the sheep and ranges from light beige tones to elfin white, with black, grey or brown elements. Another characteristic feature of a Beni Ourain rug is its geometric pattern.
'TK-DC007' features black polka dots that spread out charmingly on the white background.
Thanks to its understated and timeless design, 'Suan' fits in anywhere and is therefore an excellent choice for bedrooms, living rooms, children's rooms, hallways or offices.
