In front of me stands a table made of solid wood, which immediately catches my eye with its elegance and lightness. Like all good things, the table has a particularly simple design and can be easily assembled and disassembled. The Swiss designer Heinz Baumann worked for years on the interplay of form, function and the material wood until he found the 'Prova' perfect.
It consists of four identical feet and a wooden plate. The four feet are wedged in pairs and crosswise to the table top. This makes the table construction particularly stable, and this without any additional aids. In addition, special screw connections ensure that the high-quality wooden top does not warp. It remains as flawless and even as one would wish for an ideal table top.
The table has a great presence, is independent and expressive. A fresh, refined and timeless geometry, elegant, filigree and unobtrusive, - yet independent and expressive.
