The beautifully crafted dining table 'Hunting Table' was designed by Børge Mogensen in the 1950s. The table looks cool and sturdy at the same time - and puts the material wood in the spotlight. Two diagonal metal struts connect the table top and the frame in a visually appealing way. The mortise and tenon joints of the legs, which are in contrasting wood, are an additional eye-catcher - and emphasize the handcrafted expression of the table. But the theme is not only visible in the name, but also in the robustness and in the choice of materials of the table, which puts the wood in the center.
I am only too happy to recommend the 'CH24' wooden chair. The well-known 'Wishbone Chair' is one of the most iconic and most celebrated designs by Danish designer Hans J. Wegner - and rightly so, in my opinion! A light-looking, beautiful and, above all, very comfortable chair with the characteristic ypsilon in the backrest. It is also a prime example of the highest level of craftsmanship, as 100 individual steps are required to produce a chair - the hand-woven seat alone consists of 120 meters of cord, while the frame and backrest are made of natural wood.
