Today Mooris has some news for you from the far north.
This simple but great table was designed in 1955 for the Royal Danish Academy of Arts. That's why it's called Professor Desk. This was precisely the purpose of the table, to serve the professor as a working document.
The table belongs to a furniture series with a light and elegant expression. Characteristic of the work of furniture designer and architect Poul Kjærholm.
The 'Professor Desk' consists of a filigree, powder-coated steel structure, which is completed by a veneered tabletop. A material combination that later became the designer's characteristic.
There is also the option of adding a single drawer to the table alongside. Depending on what you want to use this great table for.
I use this piece of furniture as a dining table in the living room, where it is surrounded by equally filigree chairs.
