Chair Hassenpflug in color

Exactly such chairs we always had in our Handzgi studio. Well, not so colorful - rather it was the nature sibling. On the occasion of the great Bauhaus jubilee, 'Embru' thought about how they would like to celebrate the 100th anniversary in their very own way. With paint! New colours for a timeless chair icon by Bauhaus student Gustav Hassenplfug.

The cult furniture from the Swiss classroom is still stackable and robust. The clear form of the Hassenpflug chair convinced me even then in the Handzgi room and I like it quite well now as a single object at my desk.

The colourfully powder-coated structure of the Hassenpflug chair consists of round steel tubing, which is covered with two colourfully stained beech wood elements. Due to the concave shaped plywood the chair is quite comfortable and therefore perfect for the dining table.
