Eames Coffee Table' in marble

Charles and Ray Eames designed a coffee table in 1949 as a unique piece for their legendary Eames House in Pacific Palisades near Los Angeles. There it still characterises the unique interior to this day. The rectangular top of this simple yet luxurious table was covered in gold leaf and its leg structure was a variation of the wooden base used on the famous shell chairs.

Fortunately for you and me, the famous designer couple decided to leave this table not only as a unique piece of the world, but also in a series-ready version. That's why I'm showing you the Eames Coffee Table in all its glory today.

The white marble of this variation harmonises particularly well with the fine base and gives the table a graceful and elegant touch. Place it in its smallest format as a salon table in the living room, or one of the two oblong formats in the study as a beautiful shelf for heavy books and the coffee cup.

Timeless design that never fades away.
