Kelim Mosaïek

For a long time I was looking for a floor ornament that creates exactly the right contrast to a simple sofa: Voilà - this kilim does the job very conscientiously.

It is inspired by the typical Nolla mosaics of the Spanish Mediterranean: the Mosaïek kilim uses small geometric shapes such as those found on these floors and reproduces the triangles alternately in six colours. The result is a complex pattern that is repeated horizontally.

The carpet is woven from wool and, as befits a kilim, wonderfully thin.
