Few people know that the Zurich autodidact Hans Coray designed a small aluminium stacking chair in 1953 that was only produced for a short time. The stacking chair originally came without armrests. In the meantime, there is also a version with armrests, which is now available from good old Mooris. The 'Coray' can be stacked easily in both the version with and without armrests.
Whether outdoors or as a nice style break indoors to my rustic wooden table: This Swiss chair has really taken my fancy. Especially the punched holes in the aluminium frame are a nice detail. Not only do they save weight and give the comfortable shell flexibility, they also give the graceful chair its distinctive look. Every time the sun paints the great shadow on the floor, I am especially happy.
In the A/1 version, the seat and back of the 'Coray' come in perforated and colourlessly exolised matt aluminium sheet.
