Babadul LED floor lamp from Ingo Maurer

Paper, metal, stainless steel, silicone. Babadul is both a floor lamp and a light object; an independent character that radiates positively and unmistakably into the room. The sheet of paper floats at the end of a slender metal rod, like an abstract animal mask or a large calyx. Like all papers in the MaMo Nouchies series, the shade is made of Japanese paper, which is elaborately processed in several steps in Dagmar Mombach's manufactory until it reaches the desired shape. Inside it is an LED module with a heat sink. The module was specially developed by Ingo Maurer GmbH for the MaMo Nouchies. The light is warm and soft and can hardly be distinguished from conventional halogen light.
