Pretty clever: The award-winning luminaire Zett from the renowned Swiss lighting house Baltensweiler.
The filigree floor lamp surprises thanks to the compact arrangement of the LEDs with bright, brilliant light in the ultra-flat reflector - luminaire and base are just the size of a credit card. You simply unfold the lamp and it stretches its long neck up into the air. Thanks to a joint, the head of the lamp can even rotate upwards, spreading the light to all sides. You can see what that looks like in thisanimation.
'Zett' stands on my nightstand and charmingly illuminates the pages of my book while I read. When I turn it towards the wall, it creates a relaxing atmosphere with its indirect lighting.
The good thing is that when I briefly turn the lamp off and on again, I reduce the light output and energy consumption to 30%. Thus, this light is an extremely economical night or orientation light.
The great thing is that I can power the lamp with any USB power adapter for cell phones, a battery for USB devices or on a computer with a USB port. This makes 'Zett' not only an ideal night reading light, but also still a good travel companion - or simply a decorative accent light in my home.
