The Tolomeo lamp, an icon of Italian design and the result of a joint idea by designers Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, was launched on the market in 1987. It embodies the perfect balance between functionality and aesthetics.
aesthetics. The design of the Tolomeo is characterized by clear and minimalist lines, with a structure made of aluminium. This material not only gives the luminaire a modern and sophisticated look, but also a remarkable lightness and robustness. One of the characteristic elements of the Tolomeo is its articulated arm system. Thanks to an innovative spring mechanism, the lamp can be easily adjusted in height and inclination, ensuring great flexibility in use. In the Decentrata version, the iconic Tolomeo retains the system of spring-balanced arms that allow the light to be moved effortlessly to any position, but the aluminum head has been replaced by a balanced version made of aluminum or a balanced diffuser in three different sizes that casts a soft light into the surroundings.
