Flying Disc pendant light from Ingo Maurer

Flying Disc is an extremely lightweight object for indirect lighting. Attached with three thin wires, it appears to float below the ceiling. The thin white disc, illuminated by a ring of high-quality LEDs, diffuses glare-free light. A long black rod holds the LED ring below the disc. Both the length of the rod and the angle of the ring are adjustable, so that it is possible to illuminate the diffuser disc asymmetrically and give the lighting an additional dynamic. All three parts, the disc, the rod and the ring, combine in Flying Disc to create a fascinating graphic object.
