Let's play above the stairs or the dining table - with the 'Formakami JH4' from the well-known label &Tradition.
East meets West in this playful reinterpretation of a traditional Asian lantern in contemporary form by Jaime Hayon. For centuries, paper lanterns in Asia have been found among both the privileged and the poor, with different colors, shapes and sizes carrying different meanings.
Here, the designer has eschewed cultural formality to create a series of lamps all in white with black-stained oak accents. Handmade, the beautiful pendant lamp is made of rice paper, which combines different sizes and shapes.
