Pendant light Nelson Ball Bubble by Hay

The Bubble Lamp, created in 1947 by visionary American designer George Nelson and first produced in 1952, marked a turning point in the modernist lighting industry. Inspired by high-priced, silk-covered Swedish hanging lamps, Nelson used his signature innovative thinking by applying a self-adhesive plastic spray to a lightweight steel frame to create these elegant light fixtures in a variety of sizes and shapes.

As well as being part of a progressive lighting collection, the Bubble Lamp forms a family of sophisticated pendants, CE approved, compatible with dimmable, replaceable standard LED bulbs and suitable for both domestic and office environments.
