Lamp 'Beehive' by Alvar Aalto

Already in 1953 Alvar Aalto designed his A 331 pendant lamp, which became known as 'Beehive'. Due to the design with translucent rings, the lamp provides interesting light effects.

With its blend of organic shapes and Nordic clarity, the Beehive lamp is a perfect embodiment of the style of Alvar Aalto. The Finnish designer originally designed the lamp for the University of Jyväskylä, but it quickly became a bestseller among Artek lamps. No wonder, after all it is also sculptural and decorative when it is switched off.

The light exits downwards directly and diffusely through the rings in the body - making the A 331 pendant luminaire ideal, for example, for lighting the dining room table.

For you there is the legendary 'Beehive' in white lacquered aluminium. You can choose the rings golden or silver.
