Jasna Kuchnia transforms a simple plate holder into a fascinating light object. The wall light consists of five white porcelain plates arranged one above the other. A narrow LED strip mounted behind the plates gently illuminates the porcelain. The light is refracted in the material and reflected in finely graduated levels of brightness. This creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. Thanks to its flexible design options, Jasna Kuchnia can be individually adapted. The plates can be moved to the sides so that they can be arranged either vertically or slightly offset. If you want a larger installation, you can simply add an additional element to the luminaire to create a series of ten or more plates. The design team has also come up with another clever visual effect: a small, dark match is depicted on the front plate. When the light is switched on, it appears to ignite the match - a subtle illusion that underlines the playful character of the design.
