The 'Toio' lamp is a real statement. A simple, straight-lined lamp with a lot of character that does not hide behind a lot of chichi, but is what it is: a car headlight mounted on a steel rod.
The award-winning lamp was designed by the brothers Achille and Pier Castiglioni, who, thanks to their simple, objective style, are among the most important designers of the post-war Italian period.
The new edition of the famous floor lamp is now equipped with a dimmer. By using the improved light source, the transformer is no longer needed, but the housing - available in black, white or red for selection - is retained for aesthetic reasons, so that the 'Toio' with dimmer does not differ optically from the classic version.
The luminaire can be used as a ceiling floodlight and can be adjusted in height. It looks good in family rooms, the modern kitchen, in the studio or in the entrance area.
