The 'B.Bulb' is the new portable member of the 'Bulb' family. Based on the world-famous design from 1966, the Ingo Maurer team developed a smaller portable version with rechargeable battery, which is chargeable via USB-C technology.
The shape, however, has not changed: The design still clearly shows the birth of the sixties. I'm particularly excited about the oversize and the fact that the 'B.Bulb' combines object and function. In essence, it is simply an oversized light bulb that is a table lamp.
In contrast to the 'Bulb', the successor model has some refinement: by holding it down for a longer time, the lamp dims, changing to a warmer light colour as the brightness decreases. When switched off, the last setting selected is saved until the next time it is used. If you press and hold the switch when switched off, the 'B.Bulb' dims up from 0 to 100%. A short flash then signals full brightness.
This table lamp makes quite an impression. And not only on a desk, but also on a shelf, on a sideboard or even on a windowsill.
