Reminiscent of a lantern, but in a very elegant design: the new 'Caleo 1' lamp from Le Klint. It was designed by Rikke Frost and brings classic pleating craftsmanship to its best.
The latest luminaire in the Caleo series is inspired by the original luminaire that became nationally known when the TV series 'Denmark's Next Classic' aired in spring 2019. The original pattern has been continued here, while the suspension and the direction of the folding pattern are more traditional in this version. In this way, the Caleo family has a common thread, but each luminaire is still unique due to its shapes. They can be hung together or individually.
The exquisite lamps are made from hand-folded paper, linen cord and metal suspension. The paper shade provides a warm light and can be gently cleaned with a soft brush. The pleated shade has a long lifespan and will develop a beautiful golden patina over the years.
