Nutcracker Farfalla from 'Alessi'

A project that captures with a few strokes the deepest essence of the object and the handling that goes with it is the nutcracker Farfalla (butterfly): An example of the careful elimination of the superfluous, designed by Enzo Mari in the late 90s.

'Farfalla' remained unreleased until 2021, when the Nutcracker went into production as a tribute to one of the masters of Italian design.

'Farfalla' is the rediscovery of the simple and essential process of nut cracking and celebrates this simple activity with absolute perfection of form.
