Berenice Hernandez's studio is situated between the cool mountains and stifling desert heat of Monterrey in northern Mexico. She draws inspiration from her surroundings to create artwork with vibrancy and color. With a background in art direction and graphic design, she combines her knowledge with themes from her Mexican heritage. Botany is at the heart of her work, brought to life through a mixture of illustration, engraving, painting and textile techniques.
