One of my favourite labels 'ZigZagZurich' produces contemporary accessories for home and house.
Especially outstanding are the collaborations with contemporary designers, because they dare a lot of new things and always make me rapturous in optics and technology. As is the design of the 'Wax Layer' duvet cover by Michele Rondell in collaboration with Martina Vontobl, which uses an original wax reservation technique. Here the prototype was drawn directly onto the fabric with wax and scratched into the latter - and then dyed. A craft that fascinates and is very direct and immediate.
ZigZagZurich has succeeded in capturing the manuscript using special techniques and reproducing it in Italy using the latest methods without losing the essence of the artistic manuscript.
The noble grey shades of the sustainable cotton laundry with subtle shine appear particularly noble in their gradation and lend a naturalness that fascinates me.
