A shining sun made of noble walnut wood has recently adorned my wall in the living room. The 'Popsicle Clock' from the company Vitra has moved in with me.
The wall clock was originally designed by the designer and architect George Nelson, who created a diverse range of clock models with the Wall Clocks, some of which have become icons of 1950s design.
With its shapely hands in white metal and a red second hand, the clock has a pleasantly invigorating effect without imposing itself. The high-quality quartz movement also ensures that I can always rely on the 'Popsicle Clock'. I therefore like to place it next to my reading chair, but it also makes a wonderful kitchen clock.
