In the 1970s, the 'Ildpot' stoneware series was welcomed by Danish households as a truly novel range of cookware. Women had entered the labour market, which changed the way food was cooked and served.
The pieces in the range could be taken straight from the freezer to the oven and then to the dining table. This made dinner preparation both simple and manageable.
'FDB' is now launching this legendary stoneware series, designed by renowned architect and designer Grethe Meyer. She was part of the Danish design elite and worked with Børge Mogensen throughout her life.
And just like back then, 'Ildpot' is still wonderfully uncomplicated and suitable for the oven, grill, freezer and microwave.
