Super Sofa Superonda

1 day 20 hours left

'Superona', meaning the 'super wave', is really a successful name for this object of a sofa. Wow!

It was the first sofa without a frame and was designed back in 1967 by the Florentine Radical group Archizoom.

This piece of seating furniture consists of two waves made of a polyurethane block cut into two pieces with an S-shaped incision, which can be inserted into each other and stacked to create different configurations.

The lightness and modular construction allow for a number of different uses: 'Superonda' can be a sofa, a bed or a chaise longue.

Like many of the pieces designed by the Archizoom Group, it challenges bourgeois conventions and stimulates the user's creativity and imagination.

The glossy faux leather upholstery in the primary colours white, black and red accentuates the pop image.
