Lamp de Marseille for the wall

Le Corbusier was a master in revolutionising our understanding of space and living, and he is the author of many a famous design that still enjoys great renown today.

The Swiss architect designed the 'Lampe de Marseille' for his 'Unité d'Habitation' in Marseille. A beautifully shaped and wonderfully simple wall lamp with two joints on the arm and a movable wall mounting.

Similar to other lamps by Le Corbusier, this one also has a double light emission. A direct one and an indirect one. Ideal for cosy living situations.

I definitely have a lot of love for this design.
