Crate Low garden side table from Hay

Dutch architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld designed the Crate collection in 1934 to make use of surplus wooden crates for transportation. The collection has now been relaunched in collaboration with Rietveld Originals and HAY. The Crate Low Table has been produced with respect for the original design and features the same precisely balanced proportions and transparent construction to minimize production costs and optimize the assembly process. With its low proportions, square table top and diagonal cross struts, the table reflects the designer's architectural style in its simplicity and spatial design - providing functionality and comfort without taking up space. The Crate Low Table is made of solid pine wood and painted in various water-based colors and is suitable for a variety of outdoor areas.
