Over the course of his career, Finn Juhl designed a series of different tables with almost invisible legs made of burnished or lacquered steel with wooden feet. In this way, he brought an almost floating lightness to his designs. This is also the case with this work table, which bears the name Nyhavn.
When Finn Juhl set up his first studio at the exclusive address 33 Nyhavn in the center of Copenhagen in 1945, he designed a very simple desk with burnished steel legs: a detail that would shape his furniture design in the 1950s.
I particularly like the lightness of 'Nyhavn' and of course the colorful drawers make me melt away. A thoroughly timeless piece of furniture that you will still be using to fill out your tax return in style and style in the year 3000.
