For Spanish label Punt, German designer Sebastian Herkner has dreamed up a new collection that I'm proud to present to you today.The Rio collection is based on Herkner's fundamental design language, where he works with honest materials and local artisans to create unique designs.
The cabinets and lamps in the Rio collection use solid wood, textured glass, marble, textiles and brass. It's all about the balance of materials and the balance of proportions.
The cabinets of 'Rio' have in common that they all stand on solid marble cylinders. They provide stability and grandeur in contrast to the precise and finely crafted cabinets.
