The RFH Armchair by Robin Day was originally designed as seating for visitors in the dining rooms of the Royal Festival Hall and is characterized by a gently curved backrest and outwardly projecting armrests.

The distinctive shape of the chair is achieved by compression molding layers of beech and walnut veneer.
