Design with attitude - since 1947.
The C-Chair by Marcel Gascoin is more than just a chair - it is a piece of contemporary history. Designed in 1947, it was born out of a clear necessity: in the small apartments of post-war France, furniture was needed that could do a lot in a small space. Gascoin responded with a chair that was as simple as it was well thought out - functional, aesthetic and with a deep social awareness that shaped his entire oeuvre.
The result is a classic with an unmistakable silhouette: strong, voluminous legs meet a light seat made of wickerwork, straw or fabric - a contrast that makes the C-Chair so expressive. Modern lines, fine woodworking and a simplicity that never gets boring. A chair that holds its own then and now.
