With this bar stool, designer Jasper Morrison has reinterpreted the multifunctional shell chair - and raised it to a higher level.
The bar stool is part of the 'HAL' collection for Vitra. What the chairs in this collection have in common is the shape of the seat shell, which offers plenty of freedom of movement and also offers different sitting positions made from the high-quality, flexible plywood - for ergonomic and dynamic sitting. In this version, the chair comes with a gas spring mechanism and can therefore be perfectly adjusted in height to tables and bars from 90 cm to 110 cm high and to the respective physical conditions.
The seat with the chrome-plated base is simple yet stylish and beautiful. This makes it very multifunctional - not only in catering establishments, but also in offices with standing-height meeting and work tables.
