To this day, the designs of Danish designer Finn Juhl are unconventional and defy expectations with subtle details. This also applies to his 108 Chair, which at first glance looks like an ordinary dining chair. On closer inspection, surprising details such as angled side rails and sliding crossbars are revealed. These details bring unexpected movement and dynamism to the design.
Finn Juhl's philosophy of separating supported and load-bearing elements and thus creating space becomes clear in this chair. Although it is both upholstered and very comfortable, the '108 Chair' manages to retain its lightness and looks beautiful from all angles.
