Today I have the 'N. 18' in my luggage: a stool made of solid beech bentwood, designed by the company in the second half of the nineteenth century. Together with the chair of the same name, it has always been one of the most used seating furniture in bistros around the world.
The curved element, which also enriches the central part of the backrest, gives comfort to the seat while defining its distinctive profile. The back and the rear legs are formed today, as yesterday, from a single piece of wood bent in steam.
