Mexican artist Berenice Hernandez celebrates the freedom of acrylic painting on large canvases. So also here:

The texture of 'Calma 02' is created by draping various fabrics directly on the painted surface as it dries. The composition of pastel shapes in blues, greens, oranges and reds looks like it came straight from the artist's studio, reflecting the warm, tropical environment of northern Mexico, where Hernandez lives.
