This picture is taken from the latest series of paintings by the artist Loulou Avenue. The collection is both familiar to her style and reinterpreted with bolder brushstrokes and fuller, warmer colors.

The Dutch Liiv Ann van der Laan, also known as 'Loulou Avenue', finds her inspiration in human expression, music, street style and classical portrait photography.

I especially like her drawing 'We Are One' with its matter-of-fact declaration of love.
