'Sett' is a new table series from Danish label &Tradition that showcases the natural beauty of marble and glass, inspired by a jewelry technique in which precious gemstones are set in a frame and precisely set. The tables, which allude to Scandinavian functionalism, were designed by Luca Nichetto.
The fine legs and the shapely frame of the coffee table are made of cast aluminum and aluminum profiles. The table top comes in marble or glass, depending on your taste or your interior. For the marble version in green or white, the high-quality stone is cut into shape and polished to achieve the beautiful matt surface, before being given a protective surface treatment. As it is a natural material, each marble tabletop is unique.
The glass top, on the other hand, has the glass cast into shape and the edges are polished for a smooth surface. The color is then applied by painting the underside of the glass. The smoked glass table tops are unique due to the casting process and the thickness can vary slightly.
Paying homage to Denmark's long-standing design heritage, &Tradition bridges the gap between old and new by creating furniture, lighting and furnishings with timeless appeal.
