This unusual piece of seating furniture almost fell into oblivion. It never went into series production. To mark the tenth anniversary of Finn Juhl's death, his widow, the music and theatre publisher Hanne Wilhelm Hansen, commissioned the House of Finn Juhl label to produce a single edition of the sofa based on his drawings.
Sofa 57 is made with hand-sewn upholstery in fabric and with springs in the seat. The legs come in burnished or stainless steel with wooden feet.
