Eames Lounger La Chaise

❤️ YOUR GIFT ❤️ Vitra Toolbox with a Vitra purchase >500 CHF

A great icon from the famous pen of Charles and Ray Eames is 'La Chaise'. A lounge chair, its figurative form is somewhat reminiscent of a sculpture. In fact, the design of this furniture was inspired by the blissful and voluminous art of Gaston Lachaise. This is also evidenced by the naming of this design, which is obviously inspired by the artist's work.

The curved shape of the plastic shell with the characteristic hole in the back allows for a variety of reclining and sitting positions, while always looking incredibly nonchalant and modern.

The famous design institution Vitra has taken on this unique piece of furniture and produces it according to an old recipe with an oak wood base and chrome-plated steel substructure.

An icon of organic design that will look pretty good in my conservatory.
