Six sheets of gilded paper. Plumb bob made of plexiglass. Kabir is the Arabic word for "big". In addition to its size, Oh mei ma Kabir differs from its little sister Oh mei ma in that it has an additional downlight at the bottom. The six sails are also made of Japanese paper and hand-gilded in a special process. The light from the upper lighting element shines downwards onto a reflector plate and is projected back onto the sails. The light reflected by a total of almost 7 square meters of gold leaf gives high rooms a special glow. An additional small LED uplight colors the ceiling in a soft blue, enhancing the effect of the warm gold reflections. Oh mei ma Kabir has a length of up to 350 cm (special length 700 cm on request). The distance of 130 cm between the two lighting elements cannot be shortened. The sails are tensioned to the canopy with ropes, so the minimum length should not be less than 170 cm. The prerequisite for this is a room height of more than 350 cm.
